49^th International Scientific Conference 2018

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are pleased to announce that an international conference which is traditionally organized by the Faculty of Economics, University of Niš, will be held on 18 October 2087. The aim of the Conference is representing new, modern approaches, methods and tools, qualitative and/or quantitative, whose application, during analysis of economic issues, should lead to valuable results, and, consequently, facilitate decision-making process.

Both review and research papers are eligible. The papers should relate to areas, which include, but are not limited to:

• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of institutional determinants of the economy competitiveness,
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis in function of structural changes in economy and economic politics improvement,
• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of factors affecting enterprises' competitiveness,
• Methods and tools for performing quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Publishing opportunities:

• Conference Proceedings. Manuscripts for the Proceedings should have a minimum of 6 pages and should not exceed 10 pages. A maximum of three authors per paper is also required.
• The academic journals Economic Themes and Facta Universitatis: Series Economics and Organization. We are pleased to announce that selected papers, presented at the Conference, will be published in the journals Economic Themes (http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/ethemes and http://www.economic-themes.com/) and Facta Universitatis: Series Economics and Organization (http://casopisi.junis.ni.ac.rs/index.php/FUEconOrg). The papers submitted for the journal will undergo the regular review process.

The papers should be written in English. Abstracts and full papers should be sent by e-mail to: ns2018@eknfak.ni.ac.rs. Received manuscripts will be reviewed by anonymous referees and the authors will be notified of the decision by 20 September 2018.
